Paragliding in South Africa
South Africa with its vast beaches, wildlife and ever changing landscape offers not only as paragliding destination a great value for tourism. For paragliding however this country offers something very special. Because of the very consistent weather conditions particularly here in the Garden Route, paragliding training is possible throughout the year. In summer along the coast and during winter, in June and July, more at the north facing Outeniqua mountains. It is possible to experience a tandem paragliding flight from Mossel Bay up to Plettenberg Bay, with the best sites in Wilderness and Sedgefield. Our prime site are Sedgeview in Sedgefield, Gerricke's Point, the Paradise Ridge and the Map of Africa in Wilderness.
