An incredible and enjoyable flight, with a highly professional team. Our First Paragliding Experience Was Amazing! This was our first paragliding experience, and it was absolutely amazing and unforgettable with Fly Time Paragliding! One of the things we really appreciated was that they assigned a female instructor specifically for my wife. She was extremely kind, professional, and caring, which made my wife feel comfortable and confident throughout the experience. The entire team was friendly and professional, and everything was very well organized from start to finish. The flight itself was incredible, with breathtaking views and an amazing feeling of excitement and freedom. Amazing! If you’re looking for an unforgettable experience on the Garden Route, FlyTime Paragliding is it. From the moment we booked, everything was seamless. The team was incredibly responsive, flexible, and accommodating, making the entire process completely stress free. This experience was for my two daughters, aged 9 and 15. As the very nervous mom who was staying firmly on the ground, my biggest concern was safety. I wanted my girls to experience something extraordinary without letting my own fears hold them back. From the minute we arrived, the team put all of us at ease. The setting itself is spectacular, launching from the breathtaking Map of Africa in Wilderness and soaring over one of the most beautiful coastlines in South Africa before landing on the beach. The views are simply unforgettable, but what truly made the experience extraordinary was the people behind it. This didn’t feel like a commercial operation. It felt like spending time with people who genuinely love what they do and genuinely care about every person they fly with. My daughters were understandably a little nervous, but their pilots immediately connected with them. They chatted with them, made them laugh, answered every question, and somehow turned those nerves into pure excitement. Throughout the flight they kept talking to them, pointing out the incredible scenery, and making sure they were comfortable and enjoying every second. They never felt like “just another booking.” They were treated like people, and that meant everything to me as a parent. What also stood out was the incredible depth of experience behind FlyTime. We learned that Pete has been flying for over 43 years and Susan for more than 15 years. Together, they bring decades of experience, and you genuinely feel it in everything they do, from their calm professionalism to the confidence they inspire. We were also told that Pete was one of the pioneers of paragliding in South Africa, which made it even more special knowing that my daughters were experiencing this incredible adventure with someone who has helped shape the sport in this country. The attention to detail was exceptional. They use fantastic camera equipment, and they didn’t just record the flight, they created beautiful memories. One of my favourite moments was right at the end of Yasmine’s flight when they encouraged her to record a sweet message to her mama. It was such a thoughtful, unexpected touch, and it’s something I’ll treasure forever. We also had the opportunity to purchase beautiful handmade bracelets from Ando, made from genuine paragliding rope. What a unique keepsake to take home, a small piece of the experience that we’ll always have with us and a wonderful reminder of such a special day. Most importantly, I felt complete trust in the team’s professionalism and commitment to safety. That’s priceless when you’re watching your children leap off a mountain. Without question, this was the absolute highlight of our Garden Route trip. The smiles on my daughters’ faces when they landed said everything. Thank you, Pete, Susan, and the entire FlyTime team for giving my girls an experience they’ll remember for the rest of their lives and for giving this nervous mom complete peace of mind. Baptême de parapente à Sedgefield Vol réservé la veille pour les 11 ans de ma fille ! Équipe dynamique et rassurante. Ma fille s’est éclatée avec Sue au dessus de Sedgefield. Le temps était nuageux mais tellement d’étoiles dans les yeux ! Un souvenir inoubliable. À recommander et merci pour le cadeau 😉
